experiences

Well, i was having all this for a long time say a month since i arrived in Singapore. I was getting amazed watching the skyscrapers and many many huge buildings, the bank i visited is in a place called Raffles place and the bank was in the fiftieth floor...after travelling in the lift, i was nauseating, the pressure difference is so much and obvious...
i pity the people living here...
there is not much wilderness in singapore as i experienced in India, nevertheless the level of projection of their greenery is far more than what is done in India.
There is so much greenery around you, so much dampness around you (characteristic of the tropical climate). But i was not able to smell the forest around, no crazy insects, no birds except the mynas, black-naped oriole, crows, blue rock pigeons, and occasionally some egrets....Oriole is considered as a garden bird here... There are shops where birds like Red-whiskered Bulbuls are sold in cages with so many birds crowded inside. That was a sick scene. I wish oneday i have enough money to buy them and set free... Bulbuls are common birds and i am sure they can survive under such conditions too...
Money is such a deciding factor here, that before i buy a coffee i think so much spending energy that could be actually given the coffee itself :-(
however, i think one day i will learn many useful things and apply it for the indian wildlife, which needs and deserves proper mangement and protection in terms of biodiversity.
Bye
and good night.
